1. How do online reservations work?
If you reserve your spot online you can view all of the class times available and help our staff out with the sign in process. Come to the studio 5-10 minutes before class time or your reservation may be offered to another waiting student. If you can't reserve online that's okay! Be sure to come into the studio at least 15 minutes before class if dropping in.
2. What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes! The best clothes for yoga or meditation allow for a wide range of motion and absorb sweat. Sweatpants, shorts, yoga pants, t-shirts and tank tops are all perfect to wear on the mat. Be sure to consider the looseness or tightness of the clothes you're wearing when deciding. Yoga poses are meant to stretch the body out so you may find yourself upside down, bent forward or back wards, or even on your head so dress accordingly! Shoes (an generally socks) are not worn on the studio floor. All outer clothing can be stored in the downstairs cubby or lockers.
3. Should I practice on a full stomach?
Yoga is a practice that manipulates the internal organs to cleanse and invigorate them. If you have just eaten before your yoga practice you may feel gaseous or uncomfortable when practicing. Give yourself an hour after your last meal before practicing in class. Eating fruits and vegetables only before practicing is another way to lessen the gas you may experience after eating meats and starches.
4. What if I don't have a mat?
We have mats to borrow in the studio. As long as you're ready to practice, we're ready to facilitate! If you have a mat that you love and would like to keep at the studio please reach out to our staff to discuss the option.
5. When should I arrive?
Doors to the studio will be opened within the first 15 minutes before classes start. We will lock doors after the first 15 minutes of class.
